DESCRIPTION

Finding Home is a 2D side-scroller set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic world. You are a crash landed alien trying to find his way home, through expansive dialogue and multiple options to lead you. Fast paced combat against AI.

Responsibilities 

  •     Programmed all gameplay mechanics

    • Movement, Combat, AI, UX/UI , Save/Load, Boss Fight

  •     Main character Animation

    • Used procedural animation with Inverse Kinematics to create his movement animations​

  • Particle Effects and VFX

  • Version Control, Merging, Lead Code Review

    • GitHub Desktop was used for version control​

Project Description the concept of the project was about wayfinding in a foreign environment. Worked within an international team of 5, where outside my main responsibilities I also helped teammates in hitting deadlines by providing help on their workload.

  •     Procedural animation tools used for cutting down development time using Inverse kinematics.

  •     Save/Load system using JSON files for saving.

  •    Combat animations with procedural    animation using Inverse Kinematics
